The need for KARDS

KARDS is an affordable alternative to consultancy especially to the Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Non Profit Organizations (NPOs), Self Help groups, small and grassroots village organizations who are most likely not able to access training, research and consultancy services because of high costs.

In serving the poor KARDS is committed to contribute significantly to integral human development. KARDS therefore encourages small development efforts to be relevant, sustainable, equitable and therefore successful.

Context of KARDS work

Increasing poverty where men, women and children have no access to social amenities. In this case poverty cuts across social, economic, political, cultural and gender aspects of life. We can therefore not limit it to lack of or insufficient access to food, health care, inadequate shelter, education or inadequate income and sanitation. There is much more.
